✅  Yes, you can either use your existing WhatsApp Business number or register a new one during onboarding. However existing no. should not be onboarded on any cloud API / BSP. If so please get it disconnected. Do Note  :-

You cannot immediately disconnect and re-use the same phone number to enable the Coexistence feature.

Instead, you’ll need to wait at least few weeks before re-integrating the number with Coexistence. During this period, it’s essential to build credibility on the number by actively using it


✅  Yes, that’s the core value of Coexistence. You can:

  • Continue      using the WhatsApp Business App
  • Simultaneously      use API-based platforms for automation, CRM, or broadcast tools


Yes, GST is mandatory for Meta’s Business Verification process. 


Display name approval is subject to Meta’s Display Name Guidelines and successful business verification.

Meta’s internal algorithm considers:

  • Legally registered business documents (GST, CIN, etc.)
  • Functional and branded website or Facebook page

After a business customer has been onboarded to Cloud API, messages sent by the business via the WhatsApp Business app will continue to be free, but conversations opened via the API will be subject to conversation-based pricing. 


 1.Messages sent from WhatsApp Business App:

  • These messages will remain free, just as they are today.
  • They will not be counted towards CloudAPI/partner integrity limits or caps based on trust tiering.

2. Messages sent from Cloud API:

  • These messages will be charged based on the existing API pricing model.
  • They will go through API messaging enforcement based on trust tiering, as is currently the case.


Messaging limits are the maximum number of business-initiated conversations (conversations opened as a result of sending a marketing, utility, or authentication template to a WhatsApp user) a business phone number can open in a 24-hour moving period.

Business phone numbers are initially limited to 250 business-initiated conversations in a 24-hour moving period, but this limit can be increased. Post verification this limit is increased to  

1K business-initiated conversations
